You should reach level A2, which you need in order to:

  • Feel confident enough to have a good basic conversation and deal with everyday situations in French
  • Pass the DELF A2 exam, required by many universities and entry-level jobs
  • Obtain your Swiss Permis C (which you can apply for after having lived 5 years in Switzerland under Permis B)
  • Prepare for the oral exam required to obtain your Swiss Naturalisation
