How Prêt à Parler Contributes to SDG 4 – Quality Education for All

Since 2015, Prêt à Parler has been committed to transforming French learning into an accessible, inclusive, and sustainable experience.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), our mission is clear: Ensure equitable access to quality language education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

How We Turn the SDG 4 Vision into Action

We transform the global goal of quality education for all into a tangible reality through our innovative, inclusive, and sustainable learning model.

1. Global Accessibility

As a 100% online school, Prêt à Parler makes French learning possible from anywhere in the world, without geographical or logistical barriers. We provide expats, international students, and professionals with a flexible and innovative solution where in-person classes are not available.

2. Linguistic and Cultural Inclusion

Our mission goes beyond language transmission: we support expatriates in French-speaking Switzerland with their social, cultural, and civic integration. By preparing them for the fide test and for Swiss naturalization, we create a genuine pathway to active, inclusive, and responsible citizenship.

3. Pedagogical Innovation

For 10 years, we have been developing hybrid programs (live online classes with our Super Profs combined with independent modular learning) that promote autonomous, flexible, and personalized learning. With our cutting-edge digital tools, our courses are interactive, engaging, and adapted to real learner needs, fully aligned with the standards of modern, high-quality education.

4. Equality of Opportunity

We believe that language learning should be accessible to everyone. Our online programs, offered at different investment levels, reduce inequalities in access and democratize French learning. Whether through our French Learning Kit, our mini-courses on social media, our E-Courses on our learning platform, or our private and group classes on Zoom with our Super Profs, we give every learner the chance to progress — even with a busy schedule or a limited budget.

5. Lifelong Learning

Our learners are not only students: the majority are working adults, often already established in their careers and family lives. We encourage a modern, inclusive vision of education: it is never too late to learn, whether for integration, professional growth, or simply personal fulfillment.

6. Sustainability and Responsibility

As a fully online school, we contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions: no commuting, no physical infrastructure. We thus participate in a sustainable vision of education, consistent with other UN Sustainable Development Goals related to the environment.

At Prêt à Parler, learning French is not just a linguistic skill:
it is a step towards greater opportunity, inclusion, and sustainability for present and future generations.
